hello!
ok, i'll talk more about our ongoing production days but i'll post photos up later in the week.
we started production on saturday and the weather, when we woke up, was excellent. the sky was bright blue with specks of fluffy little clouds. everyone's spirits were raised even higher than before.
so anyway, we met at alvin's place and that boy was fast asleep. i know right, bum. got our equipments and off we went to ann siang hill. set everything up and, i'm still quite proud of this okay, 6 starbucks drinks for $10. you all know who to thank, right? i'm so awesome.
we got through some walking scenes then it started to rain. a passing cloud sort of rain so we decided to continue to shoot. after about, i don't know, half an hour the sun reappeared and lasted for an hour or so before the skies literally opened up and drenched us in it's blessings. feeling a little bit disheartened after we realised that the rain is never going to stop, we packed up and took cover outside 'RAW - 24 hours gym and spa'. i will not elaborate but pictures will be up soon and it'll be evident how entertaining and amusing it was.
back to alvin's place to drop off the equipments for the next day.
sunday, blessed day, was hot and sunny and very nice to head down to cafe del mar for drinks and a tan. but, being hardworking, we went back to ann siang to shoot the rest of the scenes there. jingyuan and i headed down after helping out with gary's shoot, which led to a very bad sunburn for that poor white-skinned girl.
we got a lot of really interesting and awesome shots, i thought. very experimental and a little bit dangerous. again, pictures are worth more than words.
i think it takes a lot for me to get tanned which is disgruntling for me because i want to get tanned. but i was the least affected of them all at the end of the day. no tanlines, no burns, nothing much. bummer. we tried to shelter our main cast as much as possible but he still went home red.
okay, am off to sleep. ice kimo tomorrow and the house scenes.
i think we're getting bruised quite a bit here and there during production. we're naturally clumsy and accidents happen, yes.
take care, rub your blueblacks, put medicated stickers on your shoulders and get a damn good rest!
